A fin de ofrecer un mejor servicio a nuestros pacientes, contamos con dos laboratorios del sueño localizados en el Condado de Miami-Dade. Cada uno de ellos consta de tres habitaciones privadas.
Las instalaciones están equipadas sistemas de polisomnografía (estudio del sueño) de vanguardia. Todas las habitaciones están equipadas con ropa de cama fresca y un televisor pantalla plana. Están dotadas de una cama de tamaño queen o full. Nos esforzamos en mantener un ambiente similar al de un resort. Para la comodidad de los pacientes, contamos con baño con una ducha amplia.
Nuestro laboratorio en la oficina de Miami (Le Jeune) abrió sus puertas en 2016, siendo ampliamente acreditado por la Academia Americana de Medicina del Sueño. La oficina de Kendall, que inició actividades en 2019, está en proceso de obtener esta acreditación. El Dr. Mezerhane es el director de ambas locaciones.
Como un centro de sueño ubicado en un área de consultorios, nuestros procedimientos son altamente rentables en comparación con los mismos procedimientos proporcionados en un hospital o centro ambulatorio. ¿Por qué hacer un estudio del sueño?
Nuestros Técnicos Registrados en Polisomnografía son capaces de observar la actividad cerebral, movimientos oculares, movimientos de mandíbula, movimientos de las piernas, respiración nasal, posición del cuerpo, patrones respiratorios del pecho y abdomen, ronquidos, concentración de oxígeno en la sangre y frecuencia cardíaca. Posteriormente el médico especialista interpreta estos datos a fin de obtener un diagnóstico acertado de su trastorno del sueño.
